image I think it is very important that the citizens of the world recognize Jikji image Documentary Heritage in Korea

That is such an interesting fact!

100 million Hallyu(Korean Wave) fans around the world!

Foreign Korean Cultural Heritage Ambassadors are astonished by the fact that Korea has invented the very first book with movable metal type printing technology.

They are also saying that regarded in America and Europe as one of the greatest achievements in history of civilization, the movable metal type printing technology being created before anywhere else but in Korean history represents the evidence that Korea is a cultural power.

They said that “In the western world, we have always learned that the very first book(printed with movable metal type) was the Gutenberg Bibles printed in 1455. Joining in as a VANK Korean Cultural Heritage Ambassador, we have learned that this information did not reflect the historical facts and the French historic perspective was somehow Eurocentric. We are going to tell the world about Jikji to worldwide citizens who do not know much about Korean cultural heritages.”

Diana from Russia said “I didn’t even know that Movable Metal Type Printing Technology was invented in Korea! That is such an interesting fact! People usually think that great inventions were made in Germany, France or England. But that is not true. And I think that the invention of movable metal type technology and Jikji in Korea is so important for world history!”

Caz from the U.K. said “I was really shocked actually, that is was Korea who invented this. I feel like this is such a vitally important part of the most influential invention – the printing press – so I don’t particularly understand why it’s not correctly attributed to Korea more often.”

We introduce you the Russian and British Global Korean Cultural Heritage Ambassadors who promote Korean cultural heritages.

I was really shocked actually, that is was Korea who invented this.
I feel like this is such a vitally important part of the most influential invention – the printing press – so I don’t particularly understand why it’s not correctly attributed to Korea more often.
Rather than being a European success story, should not the invention of the printing press be credited to all those who partook in the making of its parts and thusly be celebrated as a global achievement?
